About The Position

We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and clinically strong trauma therapists to join our expanding programs. This role involves providing trauma-focused services to both youth and adult clients in individual, group, and family settings. The ideal candidate is passionate about trauma recovery, values structured, evidence-based treatment, and is comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Candidate must be willing and able to work with high acuity clients.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health or related field
  • Eligible for licensure through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with trauma-affected populations
  • Formal training in trauma-focused treatment approaches
  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must pass background check
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to engage clients across age groups
  • Ability to balance empathy with structure and accountability
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Training or experience in evidence-based trauma modalities, including: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy)
  • Experience working with sexual abuse and complex trauma
  • Strong skills in managing high-risk or emotionally complex cases

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement trauma-focused, strength-based treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, family, and multifamily therapy
  • Utilize and grow proficiency in evidence-based trauma modalities
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically sound documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client progress
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders and referral sources
  • Adapt scheduling to meet the needs of clients and families
