The part-time Behavioral Health Counselor (Licensed Therapist) at The Potter’s House Dallas Behavioral Health Counseling Center is responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for assigned clients within a trauma-informed environment. This includes maintaining a full caseload, conducting individual, family, couples and group counseling sessions and teaching educational classes as needed. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Counselor provides education, counseling, and prevention services to children, youth, and families referred through internal or external agencies to support and improve their mental health and overall well-being. In alignment with The Potter’s House’s holistic approach to healing, the Counselor integrates evidence-based practices with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and, when appropriate, Christ centered spiritual support.
