About The Position

One Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Consultant for its clinic in Belgrade, Montana. The role provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families as part of an integrated primary care team. Services are delivered in person and via telehealth across One Health sites in Livingston, Bozeman, and Belgrade.

The consultant works with primary care and multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient-centered care, assess and respond to crises, identify at-risk patients, and maintain accurate, confidential, timely patient records in accordance with professional standards, regulations, and One Health policies. One Health is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center serving rural communities across Montana and Wyoming through medical, pharmacy, behavioral health, and community and public health services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work (LCSW), professional mental health counseling (LCPC), or marriage and family counseling (LMFT), or a PhD in clinical psychology.
• Current Montana licensure as an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, or LMFT.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to assess and develop treatment plans for common mental health and/or substance use disorders, when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health consultations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, adults, and families as part of an integrated primary care team.
• Deliver emotional, social, and behavioral support in person and via telehealth across One Health sites in Livingston, Bozeman, and Belgrade.
• Evaluate crisis situations, apply appropriate interventions, and assist in detecting at-risk patients to prevent further physical or psychological deterioration.
• Collaborate with primary care and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop effective intervention strategies and promote patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely patient records in accordance with professional standards, regulations, and One Health policies.
