The Behavioral Health Consultant provides primary care-based behavioral health services to clients with complex or chronic needs, depending on the assigned program as determined in the treatment or care plan of the client. Counseling or therapeutic services are provided as part of a team, with primary care-based services being integrated into the care plan directed by the primary care provider. This role is offered to either a PsyD/PhD clinical psychologist or an independently licensed Master's-level mental health therapist. As an FQHC, the organization is a patient-centered medical home dedicated to serving its communities with compassion, treating all patients equally regardless of their location, origin, or ability to pay. The organization has grown into a leading community health center in the Pacific Northwest with over 40 clinics across Washington and Oregon, offering a wide range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, and behavioral health. Their holistic model also provides assistance with shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.
