About The Position
Now Hiring: PRN Behavioral Health CNA at Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health. This is a 20-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital dedicated to adult and geriatric psychiatric care. We’re looking for passionate CNAs who want to make a difference in the lives of patients with mental and cognitive health conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Active CNA certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in behavioral health (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Support RNs and providers in delivering high-quality psychiatric care
- Provide direct patient interaction and engagement
- Assist with individual and group activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health
- Conduct therapeutic groups for adult and geriatric patients
