About The Position
Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients. This role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and completing all necessary documentation according to regulatory requirements. The position also requires attendance at departmental/hospital meetings.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Nice To Haves
- Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance
- Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
Responsibilities
- Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients.
- Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients.
- Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes).
- Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
