About The Position

Greater Portland Health is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Behavioral Health Clinician to provide outpatient counseling services to patients at our Brickhill location in South Portland. We're looking for someone who brings: Experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of mental health conditions Experience providing crisis intervention and risk assessment A collaborative approach to working with primary care, psychiatric, and interdisciplinary care teams A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care A genuine passion for serving historically marginalized communities, including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC.

Requirements

• Full licensure is preferred (LCSW or LCPC), though strong conditionally licensed candidates (LMSW-CC or LCPC-C) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling services to patients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with primary care, psychiatric, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.
• Serve historically marginalized communities, including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC.
