About The Position
The Behavioral Health Clinician position is co-located at Lucy’s Hearth in Middletown, Rhode Island. Lucy’s Hearth is an emergency family shelter and transitional living facility housing up to 15 families at any one time. The Clinician provides short term, evidence-based treatments and interventions for families newly arriving to the shelter who do not yet have a community-based provider. The Clinician also facilitates an ongoing, drop-in wellness support group and assists families during episodes of emotional or behavioral dysregulation.
Requirements
- At least two years of counseling experience, preferably with families
- Master’s degree in a human service related field
- Licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor, Independent License
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance

Responsibilities

Benefits
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
