The Human Services Department is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Support Specialist to provide comprehensive client-centered services across hospital, community, and crisis-response settings. This role is vital in ensuring individuals and families receive timely, coordinated, and trauma-informed support throughout their treatment and recovery journey. The Clinical Support Specialist conducts clinical screenings, interviews, and biopsychosocial evaluations; facilitates individual and group counseling sessions; develops treatment plans; and maintains accurate, confidential documentation using electronic systems. The position coordinates care with community partners, service providers, law enforcement, and governmental agencies to ensure continuity of services. Additional responsibilities include completing home and community visits, responding to after-hours hotline calls, providing advocacy during sensitive examinations, supporting crisis intakes, and linking families to essential community resources such as housing, childcare, and food assistance. The specialist also assists clients with completing applications, prepares clear and timely reports, participates in staff meetings and training, and supports special projects as assigned.
