About The Position

Greater Portland Health is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Behavioral Health Clinician to provide outpatient counseling services to patients at our Brickhill location in South Portland. We're looking for someone who brings experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of mental health conditions, experience providing crisis intervention and risk assessment, a collaborative approach to working with primary care, psychiatric, and interdisciplinary care teams, a commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care, and a genuine passion for serving historically marginalized communities, including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC. Requirements

• Full licensure preferred (LCSW or LCPC)
• Strong conditionally licensed candidates (LMSW-CC or LCPC-C) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling services to patients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with primary care, psychiatric, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.
• Serve historically marginalized communities, including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC.
