About The Position

Valley View Hospital, a premier healthcare facility in Western Colorado, has an opportunity for a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor in the Youth Recovery Center (YRC). This is a full-time, day-shift position. The role involves managing and monitoring unit activities, providing staff supervision, and planning/coordinating the delivery of quality clinical care for clients. The supervisor will utilize specialized knowledge in adolescent addiction and mental health treatment, initiate and implement emergent care in crisis situations, and serve as a resource for clinical issues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Colorado licensure (DORA)
• CAC–III or LAC certification
• BLS certification or acquisition within six months of hire
• Good leadership skills
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• Maintains self-control and exercises sound judgment when dealing with stressful situations.
• Previous training or experience in supervision

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors unit activities and provides staff supervision.
• Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality clinical care for clients.
• Utilizes specialized knowledge and expertise related to adolescent addiction and mental health treatment.
• Initiates, implements, and directs emergent care in crisis situations.
• Performs as a resource for clinical issues.
