Cerula Care is the first digital health company focused on providing integrated behavioral health (BH) services to people living with cancer, addressing needs such as anxiety, depression, and distress. They integrate with oncology practices and health systems through the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) to provide a behavioral health team, care programming, and outcomes analysis. The CoCM is an evidence-based clinical model shown to improve mild to moderate behavioral health needs more effectively than the current standard of care. The Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM) is a core member of Cerula Care’s collaborative care team, which includes a BHCM, a Consultative Psychiatrist, and a Health Coach. This role is critical for collaborating between external specialists (e.g., oncologists) and the internal care team, encompassing both clinical and operational aspects. Key traits for this role include being experienced and passionate about helping members with cancer, strong ability to engage members through telehealth, exceptional organization, and adaptability, with an interest or experience in a start-up environment.
