About The Position

Lifekind Health is looking for a full-time Behavioral Health Care Manager Supervisor responsible for clinical oversight, supervision, and development of BH Care Managers. This role ensures compliance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements, supports ECM program integrity, and promotes high-quality, safe, and consistent care delivery across regions. This role is supplemental to the current BH Provider position, which will allow for continued, direct patient care. Our mission is to bring care that’s whole, human, and healing. Requirements

• Active California license (LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
• Meets BBS/BOP requirements to provide clinical supervision
• Experience in behavioral health and clinical supervision
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal and ECM programs preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision (individual and group) to BH Care Managers
• Review and oversee clinical documentation for compliance with BBS and payer requirements
• Provide case consultation, especially for high-risk and complex patients
• Support escalation of critical cases (e.g., suicidality, complex psychosocial needs)
• Ensure adherence to ECM program standards and documentation expectations
• Develop and standardize care practices across regions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide training, mentorship, and professional development for unlicensed staff
• Support audit readiness and risk mitigation strategies
• Continue to perform the functions of a licensed BH Provider (i.e., direct patient care, treatment planning, transdisciplinary care collaboration)
• Supervisor-to-staff ratio: Up to 1 supervisor for 6 supervisees
• Minimum of 1 hour of individual supervision per week per supervisee
• Group supervision may be provided (max 8 supervisees), consistent with BBS guidelines
• Supervisor responsible for documentation review, clinical oversight, and co-signature when required
• Maintain supervision logs and ensure compliance with all BBS regulatory standards
