The Behavioral Health Attendant role exists to maintain a safe environment for patients requiring constant monitoring due to being high-risk to themselves or others. The attendant must maintain an unobstructed view of the patient at all times, including during bathroom visits and accompanying them to testing. This role involves monitoring patient safety, reporting changes to the Registered Nurse, and upholding the organization's values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence, as well as core Success Factors like Instilling Trust, Valuing Differences, Patient and Community Focus, and Collaboration.
