Entry level direct care position working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to utilize crisis and/or de-escalation intervention practices, when necessary and appropriate, with clients whose behavior cannot be otherwise supported without such interventions. The individual best suited for this role is able to identify client characteristics and environmental variables that may trigger agitated behavior(s) and communicates such information to the Administrative Team. The individual should be comfortable performing observation and monitoring of clients on a one-to-one basis. The individual should be able to clearly communicate with the residents as well as with the clinical team or other staff, as required. The position requires an individual who maintains patience and professionalism in high-stress situations.
