About The Position

Merakey is seeking a fee-for-service Behavior Consultant to join its Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The position is described as a lead role in home, school, and community settings, providing individualized one-to-one treatment based on client needs. The consultant works with team members and stakeholders toward treatment goals; completes assessments and treatment plans; engages with families and clients; collects data; and completes daily session documentation. The role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week and pays $27.50–$32.50 per hour based on experience and licensure.

Requirements

• Meet at least one of the following qualifications: be licensed as a Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania; hold BCBA certification; have a graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited college or university; have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling from an accredited college or university and at least one year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children; or have completed a clinical or mental health direct-service practicum and hold a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• When working with individuals with autism, be licensed in Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, or certified registered nurse practitioner, as well as meeting one of the qualifications listed above.
