About The Position

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a dedicated Masters-Level Therapist to provide community-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma. This role offers the opportunity to deliver services directly in real-world settings—helping clients build skills, improve functioning, and achieve meaningful, lasting progress. The Therapist provides assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in community-based environments. This role focuses on strength-based, child-centered, and family-focused care that supports emotional and behavioral development. Services are delivered in settings such as homes, schools, and community locations, requiring flexibility and strong collaboration.

Requirements

  • Licensed psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Behavior Specialist with a graduate degree including clinical practicum
  • Graduate degree with at least 1 year of full-time mental health direct service experience with children
  • Graduate degree with a completed clinical practicum and at least 9 clinical credit hours in a related field
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel locally (100% travel required for community-based services)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical and behavioral assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual and family therapy aligned with treatment goals
  • Deliver services in home, school, and community environments
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in care
