About The Position

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy) in Stamford, CT. This role provides services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs. Aspire Living & Learning has supported neurodiverse children and adults for over 40 years, offering person-centered services that evolve with people's needs, including education, behavioral health, residential, and community-based supports. The organization empowers individuals to live lives shaped by their own interests, choices, and strengths. This position is part of a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on making a real difference.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3 years of experience providing direct support to children with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational/Physical Therapists.
