Aspire Living & Learning is hiring compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Therapists to support children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA). No prior ABA experience is required. Aspire Living & Learning provides comprehensive on-the-job training, ongoing supervision, and support to help qualified employees pursue Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience in customer service, sales, education, healthcare, business, human services, marketing, communications, maintenance, government, or another field may be valuable in this role. Behavior Therapists work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or special education teacher. You will implement individualized behavior support plans, education plans, and service agreements while helping clients develop communication, social, academic, motor, and daily living skills. Clients may demonstrate mild to severe behavioral challenges, including aggressive or self-injurious behavior. The role requires patience, emotional maturity, physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Behavior Therapists may work in Aspire Living & Learning clinics, public and private school settings, client homes, as assigned, and community environments.
