Dream Big Children’s Center is seeking a Behavior Therapist to provide 1:1, play-based autism therapy to young children ages 18 months to 5 years at its Apple Valley Center. Therapists help children develop communication, social, play, and everyday living skills by implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Behavior Consultant and BCBA. The clinical model uses Pivotal Response Training, emphasizing play, choice, and motivation. The role also supports children’s participation in Dream Big Day groups and routines, which help build skills for school. Parents and caregivers are partners in helping children carry progress into everyday life. The therapist works with a collaborative clinical and center team, receives training and coaching, and contributes to a clean, safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The position starts part-time, with the opportunity to build toward full-time hours. Full availability is required Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 7:45 AM start on Wednesdays for team huddles. Occasional weekend availability is also required. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour, based on experience. Benefits are offered based on eligibility.
