About The Position

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy) in Stamford, CT. This role provides services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs. Aspire Living & Learning has supported neurodiverse children and adults across New England and Maryland for over 40 years, helping them discover their passions, unlock their potential, and live more independently. Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience providing direct support to children with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational/Physical Therapists.
