About The Position

RISE UP FOR AUTISM is seeking a Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Therapist to work directly with children on the autism spectrum. This role involves implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies to help children develop social, communication, and behavioral skills, promoting their independence and enabling them to reach their full potential. The position offers a competitive pay rate based on qualifications and experience, along with ongoing training and support from experts in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The successful candidate will join a dynamic and passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct one-on-one therapy sessions, collecting data on behavior progress, assisting with skill acquisition, collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and accurately documenting session progress. Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Therapist
  • Proficiency in using software or tools to collect and analyze data related to behavior progress
  • Familiarity with tools such as Catalyst, Central Reach or other similar software

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children on the autism spectrum to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Collect data on behavior progress
  • Assist with skill acquisition in areas such as communication, social interactions, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate and communicate with a team of professionals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), to ensure consistency and effectiveness in treatment plans
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Accurately document and report on each session's progress
