About The Position

InBloom Autism Services is hosting a hiring event to hire new or experienced Behavior Therapists (BTs)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join their team. This role offers competitive pay starting at $20/hour ($15.00 during training), weekly paychecks, generous PTO (including Birthday PTO), and six paid holidays. The hiring event will include a full interview with a member of the Clinical Team to discuss the position and assess fit. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and helping others.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
  • Ability to pass the RBT certification exam within the training period.
  • Must obtain and maintain RBT certification through the BACB.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior and de-escalate situations.
  • Ability to perform prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or sitting.
  • Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Adequate vision and hearing are required.
  • Requires strong visual acuity, good peripheral vision, and sufficient depth perception.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including Centers, homes, and/or schools.
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives.
  • Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress and adjust intervention plans.
  • Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies to address challenging behaviors.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.
  • Maintain open communication with BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members.
