Centria is seeking enthusiastic, Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to work with children with autism. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The position is suited to candidates who are patient, compassionate, passionate about helping children with autism, and able to work well in a team. Comprehensive training is provided, including for candidates without prior experience. Children may be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, and the work involves frequent movement and physical activity. Technicians need to be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and sometimes lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Centria describes the role as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children and their families. The listed pay range is $19–$24; actual pay within the range depends on qualifications, performance, experience, and/or seniority.
