About The Position
Join ACES as a Behavior Technician! A $500 Sign-On Bonus is available for candidates with an active or inactive RBT certification (expired RBT certifications do not qualify). As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques to foster communication, social, and problem-solving skills. This role is ideal for empathetic, motivated individuals eager to make a difference.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A passion for supporting children and families impacted by autism
- Comfort using tablet-based technology
- Reliable transportation, in state valid driver’s license, and active car insurance
- Military and college students may be exempt for in State Driver's License
- Availability during times most needed by families
- Commitment to completing our paid virtual RBT training program
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is a plus, including backgrounds such as camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or childcare volunteer
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in our centers or in home-based settings
- Reinforce positive behaviors using techniques from our industry-leading training program
- Track client progress using a company-issued iPad and data systems
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to support each child’s growth
