Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians, offering the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of children with autism. In this role, you will work directly with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The position involves using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while also working to reduce challenging behaviors. Candidates should be passionate about helping children with autism achieve their full potential, possessing patience, compassion, and strong teamwork skills. Comprehensive training will be provided, making prior experience unnecessary. The role is physically demanding and requires resilience, as children can be unpredictable and confrontational. It involves active movement, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds. This role offers the satisfaction of making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
