Once the exam is passed, will provide high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a direct role in helping clients develop new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and build independence.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or national equivalent
Must be willing to obtain a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB
Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
Must maintain active CPR certification
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to learning
Ability to lift, move, or support clients as needed for safety and therapy activities
Reliability, consistency, and compassion for working with children and families

Responsibilities

Implement individualized skill-acquisition and behavior-intervention plans as written by a supervising BCBA
Collect accurate, real-time data on all treatment goals and behavior programs to support BCBA analysis
Serve in a direct-care role, maintaining regular communication with supervisors for support, training, and feedback
Adjust interventions or strategies precisely as trained and directed by the supervising BCBA
Maintain thorough knowledge of all treatment plans, intervention strategies, and client goals for each child on your caseload or team
Maintain active RBT certification, including: Completing the annual RBT Competency Assessment or required PDUs Meeting monthly supervision hour requirements Submitting annual renewal materials to the BACB Always Adhering to BACB Ethical Standards for RBTS
Uphold professional, ethical, and compassionate standards in all interactions with clients, families, and team members
