About The Position

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism, using ABA therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence. This role offers paid training in ABA therapy, ongoing support from a collaborative team, and opportunities for professional and personal growth. AST is part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs nationwide.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete all physical requirements of the position either with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
• Move quickly in response to client needs
• Frequently change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally running
• Maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to support a safe environment
