Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician implements individualized behavior intervention plans and uses evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided, so prior experience is not required. The role involves working with children who may be unpredictable or confrontational and requires comfort with active physical movement, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The stated pay range is $19–$20. Centria describes a structured career path, retail-partner discounts, access to an Employee Assistance Plan with mental health and counseling benefits, and opportunities to make an impact in the life of a child with special needs.
