About The Position

This opportunity is designed specifically for current or aspiring Behavior Technicians who are looking to grow their experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. In this role, you will deliver direct ABA services to children and their families by implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Services are provided in client homes or community-based settings depending on each client's needs. Most sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate your availability. Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour based on experience, consistency of availability, and overall qualifications. Spanish-speaking RBTs may qualify for premium pay.

Requirements

  • Complete the RBT process (training and materials provided) and/or hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
  • Experience working with children, particularly within ABA or related pediatric settings, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and supportive presence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Active auto insurance listing you as a covered driver.
  • Current negative TB test.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to actively engage with clients throughout sessions.
  • Demonstrate reliability, sound judgment, creativity in implementing programs, and adherence to ethical and clinical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children, particularly within ABA or related pediatric settings.
  • Backgrounds in psychology, education, social services, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs designed to improve communication, social interaction, and independence in daily living activities.
  • Collect accurate session data.
  • Follow behavior support plans.
  • Collaborate with supervising BCBAs and team members to ensure treatment integrity.
  • Teach new skills while decreasing behaviors that may interfere with safety or independence using evidence-based ABA strategies.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, consistency, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping clients make measurable progress.
