B.E.S.T ABA is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism. The organization was founded by special education teachers who became BCBAs and emphasizes treating children as people first, building trusting relationships through play, and providing thoughtful, respectful care. Behavior Technicians receive support from BCBAs who teach the reasoning behind treatment and provide supervision weekly or biweekly, with manageable caseloads intended to support their involvement. The BT provides one-to-one therapy in clients’ homes, the clinic, and/or the community; implements treatment plans developed by a BCBA; collects and graphs data; and builds positive, engaging relationships with clients. The role requires working with clients in a home setting and may involve lifting and maintaining varied postures for extended periods. The required 40-hour RBT training course must be completed within two weeks of hire, and company-sponsored training and certification support must be completed before beginning a case. Part-time schedules are available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, up to 12 hours, or from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 6–10 hours. Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits, as well as PTO and paid holidays, are specified for full-time employees. The organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, encourages bilingual and multilingual applicants, and offers interview accommodations upon request.
