About The Position
Provide 1:1 in-home ABA support to a highly intelligent, highly verbal 9-year-old boy in East Meadow, New York. The role involves explaining and reinforcing rules, listening to the child’s arguments, and maintaining patience and composure. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 7 PM.
Requirements
- Patience and emotional stability.
- Ability to maintain a straight face and composure during debates and negotiation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a negotiator is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 in-home ABA services for one child.
- Explain and reinforce rules, including responding to questions and counterarguments.
