About The Position

Centria is seeking enthusiastic, Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided, including for candidates without prior experience. Children may be unpredictable and potentially confrontational, and the work is physically active. The stated pay range is $18–$24 per hour, with pay increasing based on experience, certification level, and highest level of education.

Requirements

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a tuberculosis test if one has not been completed in the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move through positions such as sitting, squatting, and bending.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after completing onboarding.
