About The Position

Start a fulfilling journey at Autism Learning Partners, supporting children and teens with autism. Build your career while making a positive impact every day! This is an in-home role requiring daily local travel. Candidates must reside within our Hartford County service cities that are Granby, Manchester, Marlborough, Middletown, Plainville, Burlington, Canton, and all cities in between. We'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $0.50 an hour upon completion.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED completed
6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
Willingness to pass background and health checks
Successful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

Responsibilities

Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions — often through fun games or activities.
Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
