About The Position

The Behavior Technician provides one-to-one support to children and adolescents in home or clinic settings. The role uses play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills, follows behavior plans designed by a BCBA, tracks progress, documents session notes, and communicates with supervisors and the scheduling team. No prior ABA experience is required; hands-on training and ongoing support are provided, including support toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The schedule is an afternoon shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours and availability after school hours for at least four days per week. Occasional weekend availability may be requested. The position pays $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Patient, reliable, and compassionate.
• Enjoy working with children and being active and engaging.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius.
• Afternoon availability after school hours, at least four days per week.
• Occasional weekend availability may be requested.

Nice To Haves

• ABA or RBT experience is a plus but is not required.
• Spanish-speaking.
