About The Position

ABA Midwest is hiring an In-Home Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to work directly with children and adults with autism in clients’ homes. The technician implements individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting clients’ development and helping them reach their full potential. The position is part-time, with a prospective Monday–Friday schedule from 4:00–7:00 PM. The posted pay range is $19.00–$40.00 per hour. Advancement to full-time hours may be available based on willingness to travel.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of direct one-to-one experience providing ABA or rehabilitative services to children with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a closely related developmental disabilities field.
Excellent time-management skills and experience managing a caseload.
Strong commitment to providing quality behavior-analytic programming.
Enthusiasm and self-motivation to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.
Experience implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients.

Nice To Haves

BCBA coursework or enrollment in a BCBA fieldwork/internship program is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work one-to-one with clients in home settings, following individualized ABA treatment plans.
Teach clients language, academic, social, and self-help skills.
Implement programs and skills designed to help clients reach their full potential.
Assist in creating client projects and materials.
Provide parent training to help families expand opportunities for client advancement.
Receive ongoing field support and supervision from BCBA-level staff.
Assist in designing and implementing behavior-analytic programming.
