About The Position

Centria Health is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. This role involves implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining client confidentiality, and meeting with a direct leader. The position offers a family-home environment with a flexible schedule, typically 15-20 hours per week, with assignments located within 15 minutes of the technician's residence. The goal is to help neurodiverse children build confidence and achieve social and behavioral success.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the past year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare, classroom setting.
• A minimum of one year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment.

Responsibilities

• Adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors to provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support.
• Partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans.
• Engage actively with children using evidence-based techniques and physical activity.
• Collect data on target behaviors.
• Communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Regularly meet with their direct leader.
