This position involves providing direct support to individuals in an overnight ASLEEP program. The Behavior Technician will follow the person's care plan, complete documentation, collect data, and assist individuals with various daily living activities such as meal planning, grocery shopping, housekeeping, cooking, organizational skills, financial management, and self-care. The role also includes supporting decision-making skills, community involvement, and coaching individuals through behavioral escalations or emergencies. Maintaining positive working relationships and adhering to policies regarding vulnerable adults, HIPAA, and confidentiality are crucial. The position may also involve other cross-functional duties as necessary.
