The Behavioral Technician is responsible for ensuring behavior management programs are consistently implemented for people served. This role involves establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, following treatment plan goals, collaborating with families and treatment teams, and educating parents/guardians on reinforcement and intervention information. The technician must maintain professionalism, promote safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors, and objectively review progress using behavior analytic methods. They are also responsible for accurate data collection, timely documentation, completing incident reports, reviewing daily updates for individuals served, implementing programs, and training staff. Additionally, the role includes scheduling and preparing for leisure activities, participating in training, completing mandatory training, and attending clinical meetings. The technician will provide up-to-date participant status, identify problem areas, and follow through with solutions based on clinical team recommendations. They are expected to engage in meetings, provide input, share observations, opinions, concerns, and ideas. Performs other related duties and activities as required.
