About The Position

This is a PART-TIME position supporting children with autism or developmental delays in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills. The role involves working 1:1 with children through structured, play-based activities in their home, clinic, or school. Sessions typically last 2-3 hours. The company offers paid training and RBT certification, with a $150 onboarding bonus for eligible candidates. This role is suitable for entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) looking to advance their careers in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Requirements

  • Must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment (or have active RBT, BCAT, or ABAT certification, a 30-hour ABA training certificate, a training log signed by a BCBA verifying at least 30 hours of ABA training, or a signed HR certificate confirming completion of at least 30 hours of relevant training).
  • Must obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment as a condition of continued employment, or maintain an active BCAT or ABAT certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
  • TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year).
  • Background check (FBI & DOJ)

Nice To Haves

  • Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
  • Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who have already completed an ABA Paraprofessional training certificate (RBT, BCAT, ABAT) training course and hold a certificate.
  • Spanish-speaking

Responsibilities

  • Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
  • Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
  • Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
  • Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
