The Behavior Technician will be responsible for conducting intervention and data collection as prescribed by the client’s treatment plan. This includes monitoring and accommodating frequent program modifications, as well as accurately collecting and reporting data. The role requires strictly following designated protocols to foster skills and behavior generalization. Employees will also submit to occasional fidelity and competency checks conducted by consultants or lead teachers during therapy sessions and stay apprised of the client’s IBP and/or PCSP Program, demonstrating competency in all skills listed under the supervision of the Autism Specialist, Consultant, or Case Manager. Weekly communication reports summarizing successes or concerns with both administrative and therapy tasks are also required. Employees must achieve at least 80% accuracy on the initial IBT training within 14 days of employment, or they will be placed on unpaid administrative leave until this outcome can be achieved.
