About The Position

We are looking for passionate, self-motivated, and responsible individuals who want to make a career move into the world of behavior analytics. Training is provided. A Behavior Technician provides one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). RBTs may work with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community. Each Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will continue to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes. Effective communication with supervisors and parents is essential to the RBT’s success and must be present at all times. RBTs will complete a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass background check (will include fingerprints)
  • Must have at least 1-year experience working with Children
  • Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • Maintain BLS Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • RBT or Bachelor's Degree (On-Site training provided for RBT certification)
  • On-Site training provided for BLS

Responsibilities

  • Provides one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and parents.
  • Complete a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interpret and accurately perform all assigned responsibilities.
  • Pair and build rapport with clients, families, stakeholders and their Team members.
  • Attend all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
  • Record detailed session notes, keeping accurate client data in real-time, and maintaining records well documented.
  • Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
  • Demonstrate effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
