Behavior Technician RBT
About The Position
HealthPRO Pediatrics is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our fun and growing ABA clinics in Newport News, VA or right down the road at our Hampton, VA location! You will play a pivotal role in the lives of children and their families by helping them overcome challenges and achieve milestones in speech, physical, occupational, or ABA therapy with our multi-disciplined team of therapists.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completed high school or national equivalent
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Valid RBT certification OR have completed the 40-hour RBT certification course
- Experience in the field of mental health, child development, or education
- Enjoys being around children and has a passion for making a difference in their lives
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person therapy services one-on-one or in small group settings with pediatric clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other unique needs within home, community and clinic settings
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to improve social, communication, and daily living skills
- Work under the close supervision of our BCBAs to deliver treatment plans, collect data, and reduce challenging behaviors by reinforcing positive behaviors and skills!
