Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with clients to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and help develop essential life, communication, and social skills in a supportive and structured environment.
Requirements
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
Nice To Haves
- Current RBT Certification (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
- Experience with behavior management and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
- Background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and accurately record session data
- Support skill development and work toward behavior-reduction goals
- Maintain professionalism and build positive relationships with clients and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to ABA and special education
