About The Position

Alpha & Omega Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in Staten Island, New York. We are seeking reliable, motivated professionals who are comfortable working independently in family homes while receiving consistent supervision from a BCBA. Cases are available between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with a need for more afternoon availability. Consistent weekly assignments are provided, with a minimum of 15 hours per week required.

Requirements

Reliable transportation
Access to a mobile device for documentation
High school diploma
Must pass background screening
Able to engage in physical activity including kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Willingness to accept supervision and feedback
Reliable schedule

Nice To Haves

Minimum 6 months of ABA or related experience preferred
Experience working with children strongly preferred
RBT certification is strongly preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already credentialed.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the child’s home
Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA
Collect and record session data using a mobile device
Write clear, accurate session notes
Support development of communication, behavior regulation, and daily living skills
Maintain professionalism with families and caregivers
