About The Position

Clarvida is hiring a Behavior Support Specialist to develop and implement positive behavior support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and care teams. This is a full-time, field-based role with travel required across northeast and/or central Pennsylvania. You'll conduct functional assessments and use evidence-based strategies to help participants thrive without the use of restraint procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, ABA or similar human services field.
• Master’s Degree with 50% or more of ABA course work, if degree is not in one of the above fields
• At least 1 year of experience in either a CASSP service system or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency.
• Completed training in conducting and using a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), and in positive behavioral support. Training must be provided by the Bureau of Autism Services, or an accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments
• Develop behavior support plans using positive, non-restrictive strategies
• Collaborate with participants, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure plans comply with applicable standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Travel extensively throughout assigned Pennsylvania regions
