About The Position

This position is Part-Time 3PM-11PM ONLY. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficient computer skills.
Valid driver license must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor or higher degree preferred.
One (1) year previous experience in a Psychiatric facility preferred.
One (1) year experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Helping children overcome challenges in learning, problem solving, impulse control, judgement, communication, social interaction, and adaptive functioning (activities of daily living).
Supporting individuals who may be non-speaking and have limited interactions and responses to others.
Assisting with toileting needs, including changing diapers and pull ups.
Managing challenging behaviors such as hitting, biting, kicking, scratching, and pinching.
Supporting children in managing their emotions and dealing with verbal aggression.
Creating individualized treatment and education plans that leverage the strengths of each child while addressing their specific behaviors and teaching them skills.
