About The Position
Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider with over 20 years of experience providing services to children, youth, and families. We are seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in a client's home for the purpose of treating a youth's behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote a family's strengths. A language differential is provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi speakers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in a client's home for the purpose of treating a youth's behavioral health needs.
- Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote a family's strengths.
