Then Mountain Lake Services might be the place for you! We are offering a Monday through Friday schedule for our Behavior Support Intern position located in Port Henry, NY.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master’s Degree in a clinical treatment field in Psychology, Social Work, School Psychology or a related human services field, or New York State License in Mental Health Counseling.
- ABA program preferred.
- Must have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Some knowledge in assessment and development of behavioral programs.
- The ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be willing to complete RBT Training.
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist in the process for evaluating and writing Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans and Monitoring Plans.
- Work collaboratively with, support and advise Clinical Training Specialists.
- Observe and participate with the clinical skill acquisition or Discrete Trial Instruction to individuals in need of additional support for learning.
