Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Availability Monday–Friday during school hours (typically 7:00/7:30 AM – 3:00/4:30 PM)
- Experience working with children or as a caregiver
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to follow direction from teachers and supervisors
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification
- Paraprofessional certification or similar
- Experience working in a school setting
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers and case managers in implementing academic and behavioral goals
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students with special needs
- Provide behavior support and interventions
- Assist with crisis intervention when needed
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Help students develop independence with daily living skills
- Collect and record data accurately
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
